Plug-In Storage Systems offers aluminum carrying cases to safely move your circuit boards and sensitive electronics
from one location to another location. The carrying cases were originally designed to be circuit board cases for the
telecommunications industry. Their Outside Plant Technicians needed a static safe case to protect ESD sensitive circuit
boards being carried between facilities. Actually, any technician responsible for Maintenance and Service Calls on sensitive electronics should utilize these static safe cases.
PSSI firmly believes by using static safe products, such as static safe cases, and proper ESD control in the handling of
circuit boards and sensitive electronic components will result in lower inventory investment, higher quality of service, increased profitability and market competitiveness.
Protect your circuit boards and sensitive electronic devices from inadvertent ESD events by moving them in static safe
cases. PSSI has five static safe carrying cases available for you to choose from. Custom sizes and interior divider configurations are available upon request.
Features
- Conductive aluminum case shields contents from ESD and external contaminants
- Flexible Softcell® dividers easily accommodates various circuit board dimensions
- Convenient, retractable ground cords built in to each side handle
- Two convenient ground point receptacles for wrist strap coil cords
- Built-in exterior interlocks for stacking
- Self-aligning latches with tamper-proof locks
- Custom sizes and configurations available
Beyond just a circuit board case ...
As the inventory quantity of spare circuit boards is being reduced, the PSSI Aluminum Carrying Case has become a
protective storage cabinet in maintenance vehicles. Maintenance technicians can safely store and easily inventory their
vehicle on-board stock of spare circuit boards that are used for emergency deployment.
Packing materials and cardboard containers are bulky, waste valuable floor space and can present potential fire
hazards. Use a PSSI Aluminum Carrying Case to reduce the clutter and save space, all while protecting your sensitive devices.
PSSI Aluminum Carrying Cases are ideal for carrying and storing sensitive electronic devices designated for training courses, trade shows or display exhibits.
